TVRC Combined training uses NEW Club Show jumps
The Club has invested in a full set of high quality show jumps which proved very popular and quick to set up at the Combined training show on January 2nd. So quick that the next combined training event will be able to accomodate more entries. Pictures will be included in the Gallery soon

If you found these, please could you tell Verna or Tim ASAP as these boots are a bit pricey for the owner to replace. - Thanks
More success at Championships
Julia Hewerdine (who stayed a member in spite of moving over the bridge!) has won the Evergreen Championship with Glanrannell Major Robert!
Lara Hooper riding Desach Gold Sunset in the Senior open dressage won her arena and came 4th overall in the Novice Riding test where there were over 150 entries!
Lara came 3rd in her arena on Ballycomoyle and 6th overall in the Advanced Riding test
- Well done Lara and Julia!

BRC Championships at Lincoln
Well done teams and individuals from TVRC up at Lincoln!!
In the words of Helen (stolen from Facebook...) is glad to be home, but had a fab weekend!!! Dressage team 12th, with Lara Jayne Hooper 2nd ind and Amy 6th ind. Lara Jayne Hooper also 3rd in Riding Test. SJ team 8th, with Karen 14th ind and I was 10th. Red also came 7th in Evergreen Horse today :-)”

TVRC Dressage Festival 2
Once again, Verna and Tim (and the judges and helpers) ensured that this was as good as ever! These dressage days are very popular, but please remember that they do rely on willing helpers to ensure that they run smoothly. Please try and help at an event if you are not competing for some reason.
BRC Horse Trials Championships
Well done to Gemma Somers and Captain Whitefoot (Clive) who competed at the Horse Trials Finals at Aston Le Walls. Gemma was pleased with her dressage score, and after a clear showjumping round they were in a strong position. Day two of roads and tracks, steeplechase, more roads and tracks then cross country was a challenge... And if it weren't for a minor stopwatch error (which sadly resulted in a few un-necessary penalties on the roads and tracks) they would have finished within the top ten. Well done to both Gemma and Clive for giving it such a good go.
TVRC BIG SHOW!
Thank you to everybody who contributed to the Big Show to ensure that it was once again a great success. Without so many people helping on the ground the show could never run. We hope that all competitors enjoyed their day. There is a questionnaire re: the organisation of next year's show. Please take the time to complete and return to Helen or another committee member.
Club Clothing
The committee has arranged for a selection of club clothing for members to purchase. The selection includes T-Shirts, Rugby Shirts, Fleeces and Jackets. The clothing is offered in the club colours of navy, light blue and white. Each garment is embroidered on the left breast with the TVRC logo in a contrasting stitching. It is also possible to have saddle cloths / dressage squares embroidered with the club logo. We hope that many members will take up the opportunity to wear club clothing at both TVRC and open events and competitions to give a united feeling to the club.

Club Age limit
The Club is bringing the ruling on definition of age of juniors in line with the BRC. Therefore the age for club membership is "18 and over on 1st January in year of joining" Any present member under 18 can remain a member and rejoin next year as an 18+. All members will be covered by third party insurance while attending TVRC-run activities.
